If there wasnt the photo above, I imagine it might be hard to believe Apple Pie Snapple Pie existed. I think the only other way youd believe it is if the underside of a Snapple cap told you it was real.
Or maybe not.
The all-natural juice drink that sounds unnatural came out in 2003. I took this photo in 2005. There was also Berry Mix & Mingle Snapple Pie, which I didnt even bother picking up when I saw both beverages at 7-Eleven.
Ive had several apple pie-flavored products over the years and all of them, except this Snapple, were solid food. But, surprisingly, this beverage was the closest tasting to an actual apple pie. It even had a bit of crust flavor. Oh, I know the idea of drinking crust sounds weird, but it wasnt. It was another W word wonderful.
Sadly, this limited edition flavor disappeared from refrigerated beverage cases. At the time, I wish I called the Snapple Lady to tell her how much I loved it. My efforts mightve saved Apple Pie Snapple Pie, or get me a nice letter from Snapple corporate thanking me for being a fan with a few coupons for free Snapple.
Since a number of beverages have been rescued from Discontinued Island, like Surge and Crystal Pepsi, I have hope Apple Pie Snapple Pie might find its way back onto shelves. While not as beloved as Surge and Crystal Pepsi, if you do a Google search, youll find links that lead to several folks who want to taste this apple pie-flavored beverage again.

Ben & Jerry’s Uk Launches Flavor In Support Of Gay Marriage
A longtime advocate for equal rights, Ben & Jerry’s UK has re-named its apple pie flavor “Apple-y Ever After” in support of gay marriage. This week, the UK government is set to decide whether to make gay marriage legal.
Available in select stores in the UK, the limited-edition carton features two men atop a rainbow-detailed white cake. The flavor features apple pie ice cream with apple chunks and pieces of pie crust.
The company has partnered with gay rights organization, Stonewall, and has launched a webpage as well as a Facebook fan page in support of its cause. Facebook users have the option to “marry” on the page, along with the option to chose a partner and post your “marriage” on your Facebook feed as well as your photo.
This isn’t the first time Ben & Jerry’s has promoted marriage equality. In 2009 the brand renamed the flavor “Chubby Hubby” to “Hubby Hubby” in response to gay marriage legislation in Vermont.
“Apple-y Ever After” follows the recent controversy over Ben & Jerry’s limited-edition “Taste the Linsanity” flavor, for which the company later issued an apology.
