Key Lime Pie Kit Kats Hit Stores
These could be great for the springtime holidays!
Just in time for warm-weather days, Kit Kat is serving up a new flavor of the beloved candy that is sure to make you think of spring: Key Lime pie!
Available in stores for a limited time, the new Kit Kat Key Lime Pie has the same crispy wafer layers as original Kit Kats, but with a twist of Key lime pie-flavored crème. You can find the new Kit Kats in a 1.5-ounce standard bar for around $1.09 each.
With the pastel green coating over these light and crispy wafers, this candy would be perfect for slipping into an Easter basket.
The Key lime pie flavor is not the first unique variation on the standard milk chocolate-covered Kit Kats. Last spring saw the debut of Lemon Crisp Kit Kats, and before that, there was a Raspberry + Crème flavor for Valentines Day, plus a birthday cake flavor.

How Do You Make Key Lime Pie Ice Cream
For this recipe youll need milk, granulated sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, key limes, graham crackers, and butter.
Combine the milk and sugar in a bowl then blend until the sugar is dissolved.
Stir in heavy cream, vanilla extract , fresh Key lime juice and zest, mix until blended then pour into your pre-frozen ice cream maker insert. Allow mixture to churn and thicken for 30 minutes.
Next, combine the crushed graham crackers, butter and sugar in a bowl, place on a sheet pan and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 5 minutes until lightly toasted then cool.
When the ice cream has thickened, layer it and the toasted graham crackers in a loaf pan or plastic container. Seal tightly and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
This Key Lime Pie Ice Cream was heavenly! So rich and creamy and a definite new family favorite.
