The seasonal offering consists of creamy vanilla custard inside a buttery crust that is glazed with sugar and topped with rainbow sprinkles. It sounds more like a birthday celebration treat than one you would eat around Christmas, but who are we to complain about when a dreamy dessert comes our way?
Apparently, the treat first came out around 2012, and, although its become a fan favorite, franchise owners have the choice whether to bring them back or not. How To Make Mcdonalds Holiday Pies
You can use your oven or air fryer to make these festive treats!
Preheat. If using an oven, preheat it to 400 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk the ingredients. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding, cake mix, milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
Mix it all up. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until its light and fluffy. Then, add the pudding mix to the cream cheese and blend it all together until its fully combined.
Prepare the pie crust. Gently unroll each pie crust and cut off the rounded edges to make one large square. Then, cut each square in half to create a large rectangle.
Fill the pie crust. Spoon the creamy filling into the center of each square and fold the dough over. Seal the edges by neatly pressing a fork along each side.
Make the egg wash. In a small bowl, beat the egg and water together until well combined. Brush the egg wash over the tops of each pie. This step ensure that your pies will turn out golden brown!
OVEN: Transfer pies to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
AIR FRYER: Spray your air fryer with cooking spray. I recommend using one thats butter flavored to compliment the pie crust. Then, place in 2 pies at a time. Air fry at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Repeat with the remaining pies.
Serve. Drizzle each holiday pie with glaze and sprinkle your heart away. Enjoy!

And dont neglect the Aloha brand shoyu packets that come with the breakfast platter. You know how some people like to put ketchup on their eggs? In Hawaii we put shoyu. Just open the packet and drizzle it on top of your eggs and rice. The best is when you can get everything in one bite. FYI, breakfast is now served all day.

Select McDonalds restaurants across the country are welcoming back the Pumpkin and Creme Pie in celebration of fall 2020.

The seasonal treat features a sugar-coated baked turnover-style crust piped with a pumpkin pie filling on one side and a sweet creme filling on the other.
This version of the brands pumpkin pie first appeared at McDonalds back in 2015.
For its 2020 return, the Pumpkin and Creme Pie will be available at franchise locations on an opt-in basis, so you wont find it on the brands official national menu.

A pulut hitam pie, which is filled with black glutinous rice, appeared as well as a karipap pie with a filling like curried chicken.
