Sonic Summer Of Shakes
I have been seeing Sonic commercials on my television for years, yet had never been to a Sonic restaurant until recently. Part of the reason is that there isnt one very close to my home, however there are TWO Sonics close-by our retirement home !
When Sonic asked me to do a review of their Summer of Shakes, I was very, very excited. Not only would I finally be able to try Sonic, but their shakes and teas sound incredibly refreshing.
My friend and her husband and my husband and I headed down last weekend and one of the first things she and I did was head to Sonic to pick up lunch for us and the boys. We got online first so everyone could choose what they wanted, and it was quite funny, as we all had a very hard time deciding what shake to order! See what I mean?
When we looked at the menu, we were slightly overwhelmed . There were SO many tasty items to choose from! She and I each got a Sonic Bacon Cheeseburger, and the guys wanted the Supersonic Bacon Double Cheeseburgers. We also ordered fries, onion rings and Ched R Peppers. And shakes of course!
You might notice that there are six shakes above. They accidentally made two of the Strawberry Cheesecake. They let us have it
The boys left on Sunday, and my friend and I stayed two extra days. Guess what we did? We went to Sonic again on both of those days! We just had to try more stuff . We were able to try the corn dogs , and the Asiago Chicken Sandwiches and both days we got the Lemonberry Fruit Slush .
