A partnership with Caskers, an online spirits distributor, has just been formed by the East Tennessee distillery in order to make its distilled goods more available to enthusiasts around the country.
Residents in 28 states may now get Sugarlands Shine delivered straight to their front door by simply visiting BuySugarlands.com and placing an order. We can be found at a variety of liquor stores around the country, although not all of them carry our moonshine, according to Brent Thompson, director of marketing and strategy. Any time these two things come together, I feel the need to check it out knowing full well that I come away from the process disappointed more often than not. But hope springs eternal, and a new expression from Sugarlands Distilling Co threatens to put a green apple twist on the classic.

Dont look now, but one of the busiest distilleries in the country based on tourism visits is Sugarlands Distilling, in the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee. A connection with the popular show Moonshiners doesnt hurt, nor does the vast product lineup, which includes 21 varieties of moonshine, rum, and liqueurs, which range from a straight white rye to a peanut butter and jelly moonshine, all bottled in mason jars. Candy- and dessert-flavored shines are a particularly specialty of the operation.
Its impossible to keep on top of all of these flavors there will be more by the time you read this so consider this a representative sampling of what Sugarlands is up to. Thoughts follow.

Washington state years ago went to all mail in ballot.
You can still vote in person on election day but if you are registered to vote and have an address your ballot is sent to you.
Our state even allows you to register to vote on elections day.
Which honestly, every state should be that way.
We should want people to vote.
Washington has done mail in voting now for almost 10 years.
And I love it.
I get time to sit and read and look up all the ballot measures.
Research all the judges.
Because that is one thing people overlook.
But local judges affect your community BIG time.
You dont have to stand in line and you dont have to feel rushed.
I always feel rushed when I vote in person.
Not sure why, I just do.
However, your state does it, I hope you get out and do your civic duty.

I could not find fresh spiced apple cider, only apple juice, so I added a packet of spiced apple cider mix.
If you can get fresh spiced apple cider instead of apple juice you dont need to have the cider mix.
