In the past, I have not enjoyed the GT sandwiches, especially the chicken salad croissant . I was meeting a colleague for lunch and she wanted to come here, so rather than having another mediocre overpriced sandwich, I opted for the chicken…pot pie . This was tasty, fulfilling and, unlike the frozen varieties that you get at other places, this had double crusts! The top crust was tender and flaky and the bottom crust was tender and not soggy. This is one of those places where you place you order, find a seat and they call your name when your food is ready.More
Pies are excellent, but expensive. I paid about $53 for 3 standard size pies. Food is equivalent of Panera Bread.

I have driven by this place for years and today decided to try it out. I stopped in after an AM meeting and got lunch to go to take back to work with me. I ordered broccoli soup and a slice of apple crumb pie….The soup was neon orange. I have never seen food that color, but I was turned off by it and gave it away. I saved the pie for later in the day. Opened the bag as I stayed late to do some work, and it was blueberry. I called the establishment to ask if they would make it right, and the lady sighed heavily like I was making a huge unbearable request that my order would actually be what I asked for and paid for. Sweet pie lovers will adore this subscription from the Southern Baked Pie Company. The company sends out a pie from their sweet menu each month. Their pies can all be seen on the website and there are some extremely appealing treats on there.
Your subscription will cost $33/pie on a 3-month membership, $32/pie on the 6-month and $30/pie on the 12-month. The pie selection is random, so you wont know what flavor to expect. Youll have to simply wait for it to turn up. Still, getting a surprise is part of the fun of a subscription club.

We will occasionally stop because it’s not too noisy at dinner and the food is usually decent. Most recently, as we were waiting for our food we noticed one of the workers was cleaning tables. That…was a good idea as nearly all of the empty tables were dirty. The way she did it was not reassuring that cleanliness is any priority at all there. She essentially made it more appealing to the eye without truly cleaning the WHOLE tabletop. Then she wiped the seat with the same cloth, then on to the next table TOP…..um….not for us.More
