I cant say enough good things about these pies. They are adorable and SO GOOD. I was given a much higher headcount than ended up attending the meeting these were ordered for, which meant I was able to bring a few extra mini-pies home. Let me tell you, they are amazing the next day for breakfast!

I ordered two pies, and both were disappointing. Both pies, chocolate cream & coconut cream, were very overly sweet. They had no flavor except pure sugar. All my guests said that the same thing. I was so…embarrassed to serve something like this. The chocolate cream pie was very watery. It didn’t hold its shape after the first cut. These pies were not cheap, so my expectations were higher, and they were definitely not met.Next time I will get my pies from Publix bakery.More

A friend brought my family 4 pies as a gift last week…chocolate cream, key lime, apple, and some kind of pecan with chocolate. Also tasted a few she bought…coconut cream, buttermilk, and peanut butter. All I can say is yum! Every single one was tasty….Will definitely seek out in the future!More

The pies here are super fresh and taste great. They have multiple options for sizes and flavors. Great little treats for parties or guests.

They small selection of pies. We got 4 minis for $18. They are rich and delicious, well worth a trip.

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop Lands In Fort Worth

Buttermilk Sky Pie Franchise Information: 2021 Cost, Fees ...

The menu at Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop features classics such as key lime and coconut cream, and new flavors, like their I-40 pie, which has pecans, chocolate and coconut.

A Tennessee-based bakery chain has chosen Fort Worth to be the home of its newest spot.

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, which is one of 25 locations scattered across the south, will have its grand opening at their 6120 Camp Bowie location Friday, with events kicking off at 10 a.m. There will be pie giveaways throughout the day, and the first 50 people in line will receive a card for free mini pie for a year.

20 percent of all sales during their grand opening will be given to 10-7 Outdoors, which plans hunting and fishing trips for children of police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

My wife and I were both raised in Fort Worth, and when we talked to the franchise about possibly opening one, we said we would only do it if it was here in Fort Worth, says Buttermilk Skys owner Scott Anderson. We wanted to give back to an area and town that we knew well, and when we researched and saw that there were no other pie shops in the area, we thought it would be good to bring that home to Fort Worth.

Their menu features classic and new flavors alike. There’s key lime and coconut cream, but also new flavors, like their I-40 pie with pecans, chocolate, and coconut. All flavors are available in 9-inch, 4-inch, and 2-inch pies.

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop Celebrates Pi Day

Knoxville, TN, March 05, 2021 — Pi Day is March 14th, an annual event dating back to 1988. Thats when physicist Larry Shaw with the Exploratorium in San Francisco realized that the date 3/14 echoes the first three digits of pi, a constant value used in math to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. In a team-building effort at the Exploratorium, Shaw invited employees for pie and tea on 3/14 at precisely 1:59 pm. The first five numbers of pi are 3.14159, and pies are typically round, like a circle, so Shaws precise timing and choice of dessert were no accidents and Pi Day was born. On March 12, 2009, the U.S. Congress ensured the holidays success when they recognized 3/14 as National Pi Day.

Buttermilk Sky Pie, a national franchise network of local pie shops, is celebrating Pi Day 2021 by donating to one middle school in each community that hosts a locally owned Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. Middle school is typically when students learn basic geometry and are introduced to the concept of pi, a non-terminating, non-repeating, infinite decimal, said Scott and Meredith Layton, founders of Buttermilk Sky Pie. We thought that Pi Day would be the perfect time to thank the teachers for their infinite energy and the never-ending support they bring to our kids every day.

Foodie Friday: Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop

It all started with Amy Doyles own pie in the sky dream of earning her culinary degree so she could open up a business making food she loves for people in her community. Amy attended a baby shower a couple years ago where she had the best Key Lime Pie shes ever tasted, from a small pie shop in Colleyville called Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. It was then she realized she could make her dream a reality by opening her own location right here in her Flower Mound community.

The Flower Mound location of Buttermilk Sky opened in early October and boy has it drawn a crowd of loyal fans already! While we were there filming, there was a constant stream of customers coming in buying large pies and their smaller 4 pies by the tower!

Why have so many fallen in love with this pie shop already? Well, there are lots of reasons between Amy and her staffs warm greetings and the adorable decor, but its most likely because everyone can taste the care and love baked into each one of their scratch-made pies.

They currently have 6 flavors on the menu Key Lime, Southern Custard, Pecan, Chewy Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin, and Buttermilk Skys signature flavor the I-40, which is essentially a pecan pie with chocolate chips and coconut. They also have plans to soon add Grannys Apple to the menu, just in time for the holidays!

Their pumpkin pie reminds me of my own grandmothers special recipe. And that key lime we understand how it could have inspired a dream!
