Peanut Ice Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup dry roasted peanuts

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, sugar and butter press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-in. pie plate. Spoon half of the ice cream into crust.
In a small bowl, combine the corn syrup and peanut butter spoon half over ice cream. Sprinkle with half of the peanuts. Repeat layers. Freeze until firm.Yield: 6-8 servings.

    Begin by crushing the package of oreos with either a food processor, blender, or by hand.

    Then mix the crushed oreos with the melted butter and press the oreo mixture into a 9×13 inch pan or 2 pie pans.

    Allow the vanilla ice cream to soften at room temperature for about 30-35 minutes.

    Once it is soft, spread the ice cream over top of the oreo crust and freeze the dish for 2 hours.

    The next step is to pour the warm fudge over top of the ice cream layer and pop the pan back in the freezer to let the fridge chill .

    Now it is ready to go, so when you are ready to serve the mud pie just pull it from the freezer and top it with your favorite toppings!

    Breyers Toasted Coconut Caramel Ice Cream Pie

    • 3 3/4 cups toasted flaked coconut
    • 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
    • 1 container Breyers® Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

    Directions

  • Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with nonstick cooking spray set aside.
  • Combine 3 cups coconut, margarine and brown sugar in medium bowl. Press into prepared pie plate. Freeze 10 minutes.
  • Scoop half the Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream into crust, smoothing to form even layer sprinkle with 1/2 cup coconut. Scoop in remaining Ice Cream, smoothing to form even layer. Freeze two hours or overnight.
  • Beat heavy cream with caramel ice cream topping in large bowl with electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Spread on ice cream or, if desired, spoon into pastry bag with star tip attachment and pipe onto pie. Sprinkle with remaining coconut. Freeze one hour or until ready to serve. Drizzle, if desired, with additional caramel topping.
  • Tip: For an even easier prep, use a prepared graham cracker crust.

    This Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie uses pantry friendly ingredients and can barely be called a recipe because it is so easy!

    • For the filling you simply mix together 3 ingredients plus a few seasonings.

    This delicious cookies and cream ice cream pie is a refreshing and delicious frozen summer dessert!

    Ive recently come across a new favorite type of dessert. Ice cream pies. They are easy to make with only a few ingredients, and such a fun dessert that everyone loves. And they are customizable because you can pick whatever flavor of ice cream you want! I do have to say though, this cookies and cream ice cream pie might be my favorite!

    This ice cream pie starts with a simple homemade Oreo crust, but if youre not in the mood to make it or to heat up your oven to make the crust you can buy a store bought crust which would make this treat completely no bake. The crust is topped with hot fudge, a creamy ice cream mixture which is packed full of EXTRA Oreo cookies, and topped with whipped cream .

    I searched for some at Publix and found the usual sugared variety in the baking aisle, but nothing toasted. At Sprouts, they had it in varying bags of organic, desiccated shreds, flake to fine, all of it unsweetened but nothing toasted.

    Id have face-palmed myself with exasperation if I hadnt been so thrilled Id worked a kink from the harried hose of my day. Relieved, cogent thoughts began to flow once more. Mostly.

    Historically, the back-to-school season kinks up all kinds of things, from the daily commute to the daily goings-on at home. After 10 weeks of a summerized schedule, folks are back to something more managed but less carefree. And so, ice cream pie. But not merely for National Ice Cream Pie Day .

    I mean, what better way to hang on to summer vibes than ice cream?

    How To Make Ice Cream Pie

    It starts with a graham cracker crust. For a true three-ingredient dessert, youll need to buy the graham cracker crust. However, if you have the extra time and want to, you can make your own graham cracker crust and put it in a pie pan. Next, you pick two flavors of ice cream that complement each other. My two favorites? Salted caramel and chocolate fudge brownie. Mmmm, just thinking about it

    Scoop the ice cream into the pie crust. Add one scoop of flavor choice #1, then one scoop of flavor choice #2, then flavor #1 again, flavor #2, and on and on. The ice cream scoops will cover the bottom of the crust and then you do one more layer of ice cream scoops on top of that.

    Finally, you press it all together with the plastic top that came with the graham cracker crust. If youre using a homemade crust , you can press together the layers with parchment paper and your hands. Once the ice cream scoops are solidly pressed together, its time to freeze the pie until its firm.

    Once firm, use a sharp knife to cut out slices. Garnish if desired

    Butter Brickle Ice Cream Pie Recipe

    • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
    • 1 graham cracker crust
    • 1/2 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips
    • SAUCE:
    • 1 can evaporated milk, divided
    • 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
    • 1/2 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips

    Directions

    Spread half of the ice cream into crust. Sprinkle with toffee bits. Spoon remaining ice cream over top. Cover and freeze until firm.
    In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, 3 tablespoons milk, corn syrup, butter and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Combine cornstarch and remaining milk until smooth gradually add to sugar mixture.
    Return to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Cool to room temperature, stirring several times. Stir in toffee bits. Refrigerate until serving.
    Just before serving, transfer sauce to a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 30-60 seconds or until heated through, stirring once. Serve with pie.Yield: 8 servings.
