Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie
Step 1: With small ice cream scoop, completely cover the bottom of pie crust with ice cream.
Step 2: Drizzle peanut butter sauce over ice cream. Place in freezer for about 15 minutes to harden.
Step 3: Alternately cover first layer with scoops of ice cream and peanut sauce. Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired.
Step 4: Freeze until ready to serve.

Step 1: Combine sugar, honey and butter in a 4 cup microwaveable bowl. Cook at medium-low for 4 minutes, until sugar is dissolved, stirring once.
Step 2: Add peanut butter and whisk until smooth. Stir in milk or cream.Step 3: Refrigerate until cool.

How To Make An Ice Cream Pie
An ice cream pie is more feasible as a two-day projectnothing is hard in the slightest, but as the name suggests, there is some freezing involved.
For an ice cream pie, you need to bake the crust on its own, which is called blind baking. This way it is fully cooked and wonderfully flaky before you start piling in the ice cream. This is a technique used for many kinds of pies, where the filling doesnt need to be cooked, like a chocolate mousse pie, or all kinds of icebox pies. Its a great technique to know.
Sometimes a crust is partially baked when the filling only requires a short time, which is known as partial blind baking, but well leave that for the next pie.
Be sure to let the pie crust sit for 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature when you take it out of the fridge, so it will soften and it wont crack when you unroll it. The crust is fitted into the pie pan, then lined with parchment paper .
Into the freezer it goes to firm up. Then it is filled with weights of some sort, for the beginning of the baking process so that it doesnt shrink and stays flat when it bakes.
Finally you can top the pie with whipped cream, homemade or otherwise, and the candies or sprinkles of your choice (in this case MORE Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Because all in, baby.
The pie will keep for 5 days in the freezer. Cover it well with plastic wrap once the top is firm. Make the whipped cream just before serving, or a few hours ahead and keep it in the fridge.

This is the Peanut Butter and Ice Cream Pie recipe.

- Freezing: 5 h 30 – 5 h 45
- 2 cups soft chocolate ice cream
- 4 cups soft vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbsp coarsely chopped salted peanuts
- Chocolate syrup
- 1 1/2 cup crushed Graham cookies
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Light Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie
6 ingredient Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie thats lightened-up. Go ahead, have another slice!
There are only 6 ingredients that you need in order to make this pie. Combine 1 quart of your ice cream of choice with 8 oz of frozen whipped topping . This will be your pie filling. The Cool Whip makes it extra creamy, while simultaneously making it lighter. Try using heavy cream instead!
Make sure the ice cream is softened and the Cool Whip is thawed. It makes things much easier, trust me. Spread 1/2 of the filling into the homemade Oreo cookie crust . Melt 1/4 cup of peanut butter and drizzle half of it on top. Layer with the rest of the filling, then the rest of the melted peanut butter, and top it all off with Reeses Pieces. Freeze for 6 hours.
Youve just made the easiest lightened-up ice cream pie in the world. Peanut Butter Style.

Though very simple, this peanut butter ice cream pie took decadence to the next level:
This is delicious! The saltiness of the peanut butter and the cashew ice cream keep the pie from being overly sweet while adding a tremendous amount of richness. And I liked that she used CocoWhip for the consistency. It gave the filling a lighter, melt-in-your-mouth consistency that was rather addictive and combated the density issue when refreezing ice cream. It still freezes up relatively firm, but is super-creamy and easy to eat with a spoon. Overall, the flavor is full-bodied, but the little bit of chocolate on top is almost a must to balance out the crust. That said, I could honestly just eat that filling with a spoon! The recipe is well-written, too.
How To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie
I have to warn you. This pie may be so easy to make, but waiting to eat it is not. The magic of this ice cream pie is how easily it comes together, but waiting for it to freeze is straight up torture. They say a watched pot never boils. The same is certainly true of a freezer that gets checked over and over. When crunchy Oreo cookies, creamy peanut butter, decadent cream cheese and cold, refreshing ice cream all come together in a single dessert, the wait seems endless. But close that freezer door, yall, and be patient because this pie is so worth the wait.
To Make the Crust:
First, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs in a food processor or blender. Then transfer to a mixing bowl and combine well with the melted butter. Once its mixed well, press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 pie pan.
Chill the crust in the freezer while making the filling.
To Make the Filling:
Next, in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add the peanut butter and continue beating until smooth. Then add in the ice cream on low speed, and beat until creamy.
Spread the filling into the prepared crust.
Garnish with more Oreo cookies . Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for several hours or overnight.
Let the frozen pie stand at room temperature for about 5 minutes before slicing into. Serve and enjoy!
