McDonald’s has sold more than 40 different pie flavors globally, Mashed reports. In addition to the ubiquitous apple pie it has introduced other flavors like cherry, lemon and chocolate — as well as more exotic varieties, including s’mores, sweet potato , mango-passionfruit and a savory bacon-potato pie .
In Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama, you can order a cheese pie — flaky pastry filled with pay de queso, a sweet creamy cheese similar to a cheesecake filling.
Mickey D’s even introduced a fried taro pie in Asian markets in 2012 after a trial run in Hawaii. The purple tuber looks a bit like a potato but is much sweeter.

Mcdonalds Singapore Launches Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie And Lotus Biscoff Mcflurry
The new items are available via delivery platforms or McDonalds Dessert Kiosks.

While we wait for the BTS meal to be released next month, McDonalds Singapore has added two new items to their Dessert Kiosks: the Lotus Biscoff Mcflurry and the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie.
The Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie is a hot dessert with blueberry jam and cream cheese filling. While this combination pie is a new addition to McDonalds Singapore menu, McDonalds Malaysia already released it last year.
Do note that the pie contains allergens such as wheat, soybean and milk.
Fans of the Lotus Biscoff cookies will love McDonalds other dessert, the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry . The dessert was already available in France and Belgium.
The new McFlurry flavour consists of vanilla ice cream topped with Lotus Biscoff crumbs. Similarly, it contains allergens such as wheat, soybean and milk.
You can order the desserts at any McDonalds outlets with Dessert Kiosks or via delivery platforms, including McDelivery.

How Does The Blueberry And Crme Pie Taste
The 290-calorie pie is made with a classic McDonald’s sugar-coated flaky pastry crust, filled with blueberry filling, side-by-side with a vanilla-flavored crème. Ian K. of Peep This Out! Reviews called the Blueberry and Crème Pie “a lovely situation,” packed with blueberry filling without being cloyingly sweet.
“It actually feels like there are pieces of blueberry in there, not just a purée,” said Ian, who gave the dessert an 8 out of 10 rating. The baked outer coating “feels fried, but it’s not,” he added. “It’s not too greasy in my hands.”

Mcdonalds Blueberry And Crme Pie Has Finally Been Resurrected
I cant recall whether Ive had the blueberry and crème pie from McDonalds, but thats probably because its been five years since it graced McDonalds menu as a limited-time-offering. Fortunately, like many limited-time fast food offerings these days, its been revived from its slumber. CNN reports that this pie may have made it back to the menu at the McDonalds near you, but its not available everywhere. Its currently being sold at 6,800 of McDonalds 14,000 US locations, so nearly half of McDonalds restaurants nationally are serving them right now.
Mashed says that there were fervent fans of the dessert back when it was first released in 2017, so theres probably a handful of people out there running around in circles right now. Its as straightforward as it sounds: The pie has both blueberry filling and a crème filling inside McDonalds flaky pie crust.

For more than 50 years, all the pies sold in US McDonald’s have been made exclusively at Bama Companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
With more than 800 employees at three facilities working 24 hours a day, Bama cranks out more than 2 million pies for McDonald’s every day.
All of the pies sold at US McDonald’s are made in Tulsa.
While they’re prepared in Tulsa, the pies are baked on-site at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
In 2018, Bama tweaked McDonald’s apple-pie recipe, removing artificial colors and preservatives and high fructose corn syrup, and swapping in a lattice top for the whole top with slits, Bama CEO Paula Marshall told Tulsa World. It also started using bigger chunks of apple and less juice.
In Bama’s home state of Oklahoma, customers can try out McDonald’s new Strawberry and Crème Pie.

On one side is a sweet and tangy blueberry jam-like filling and on the other, is a cream cheese filling. As seen in the above images, people there have been posting photos on their Instagram accounts since the second week of March. In the Philippines, there are currently only two pie flavors at McDonalds: apple pie and rich chocolate pie.
Lets just pray to the food gods that this dessert gets to Philippine shores and the quarantine is lifted soon.
