Gregory, who grew up in Ridgefield, opened the popular cupcake and cake bakery in April 2010 with her partner Robert Byrnes. Both have professional culinary credientials and industry experience. In addition to their in-store baked goods, Byrnes and Gregory accept orders for party favors and wedding cakes.

My 70 year yukky experience with cupcakes has finally ended. Until my discovery of The Cake Box, it seemed the Tastykake cupcake was ubiquitous, cuopcakes everywhere were clones of that abominable cupcake. Delish, delish, delish. And, the lemon ricotta pound cake is a marvelous derivative of the Italian lemon ricotta cheescake.

I loved the raspberry lemon and the funfetti capcakes my husband loves the mochaccino cupcake. They make custom cakes and are willing to work with you on custom designs, and they sell sandwiches and cakes as well. They also have gluten-free options.

The Cake Box has moved from the Copp’s Hill Marketplace on Danbury Road to 1 Big Shop Lane in the space formerly occupied by Nancy O’s knitting shop, and expanded its hours and menu offerings.
In addition to the shop’s traditional cupcakes, brownies and cakes, customers can now dine on breakfast fare such as scones, muffins and cinnamon rolls during the early morning hours, said co-owner Jordan Gregory.

Great little place to visit and enjoy the BEST cup cakes ever. The creative cake designs are something out of a art studio.A gem in the Ridge.
Its tough to find tasty gluten free desserts. I had a red velvet cupcake that was the best. It was moist and had a nice texture. They have a nice selection and gluten free prep area. Nice friendly staff. Will be back to try another!

We absolutely love this bakery!! Their gluten-free products in particular are excellent, especially their cookies, cakes and make-at-home pizza dough which is not easy to make gluten-free . They have a huge selection of teas which I love. The staff is always pleasant and we cant recommend this place enough.
