How To Make A Smores Pie

S’MORES PIE RECIPE | Chocolate Marshmallow Pie Dessert | My Cupcake Addiction

Theres 3 main components to this recipe:

  • graham cracker crust
  • chocolate filling

CRUST. The crust is made with graham crumbs, a little sugar and melted butter. You can either buy graham crumbs in the box , or crush sheets of graham crackers in your food processor. I like the crust a little thicker for this recipe.

FILLING. Chop up chocolate into small pieces and then place it in a large, heat-proof bowl . Then youll heat some cream over in a saucepan until its almost boiling. Pour the hot cream over top of the chopped chocolate, let it sit for a few minutes for the chocolate to melt, and then whisk until its smooth.

Finally, whisk in 2 eggs, which help to give the pie the right consistency. The mixture will be quite liquidy, which is what you want.

BAKE. Pour the mixture into the pie shell, and pop the pie in the oven to bake 25-30 minutes.

TOPPING. Sprinkle mini marshmallows on top and then pop the pie back in the oven for a couple of minutes for them to gently brown. This process goes very quickly, so make sure to watch carefully they can go from toasted to burnt very quickly.

Hi Kristy in the Rada Kitchen and today I am have a new cookbook we came out with called Give Me Smore, its recipes for anyway to makes smores. There are cookies, there are bars, there are brownies, but I am going to make a gooey smore pie. It is really easy and it has all the smore ingredients. Lets get started.

Now in the mixer were gonna beat a stick of butter or a half of cup, and thats been softened and then a half a cup of sugar, now were just gonna mix that until its creamy. Now to this were gonna add one egg and a teaspoon of vanilla, were just gonna beat that in good. So now its all nice and creamy and to this were gonna add a cup of flour, a cup of graham cracker crumbs, and a teaspoon of baking powder. Were just gonna gently mix that together.

And now were going to take a 7 ounce jar of marshmallow cream. Youll wanna spread that over the crust. I like this Rada super spreader because it gets to the bottom of the jar its just the right length. Whether it is peanut butter, mayonnaise, or this marshmallow cream. Here we have 1.5 ounce milk chocolate candy bars were just going to layer those over that marshmallow cream.
