We had two pieces of pie. The menu doesn’t tell you the price. I was not impressed with the Bayou Goo pie. That is when the manager told me he doesn’t like it either. The cashier also told me she does not like it. Dexter…was a good waiter, he tried to comp the piece of pie, but the cashier made us pay for it. The manager explained that there pies are always consistent and that is how it should of tasted.More
I have been to House of Pies many times now with friends and family. Each time I have gone I have received great service, a good value, and a really good breakfast and comfort foods at any time of day. This is a good place…for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The menu has options for everyone and the deserts are very good as well. Must try one of the pies and order a nice filling breakfast meal.More
Good desert place , Kylie was good but the other waitresses are a bit vacant…. management need to train train train …. I might try the breakfast sometime . The pie is huge so you can certainly share ! Worth another try

I had recently moved out of Houston to Corpus Christi Tx and was back in my hometown to lay to rest my sis who lost her battle to cancer. I needed some comfort food really bad and the only place I know to get this fix was house if pies and they didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious and very satisfying. Thanks for helping me get through that very sad day House of Pies.
I love house of pies! The only thing I dislike is the wait to be seated, but not really a big deal. Usually they’re pretty fast to get you seated as soon as someone leaves. This is the place to go if you love old fashioned diners. Waitstaff is always super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Their food is always seasoned well and those cheesecakes and pies are too die for. This place should definitely be on everyone’s bucket list of restaurants to try in Houston!

I took my 3 daughters to dinner there hoping to have a great experience and some awesome desserts but I soon realized that I wasnt welcome there. Im a white man with 3 beautiful blonde girls. We sat down and ordered our food and everything…seemed fine, the staff was friendly and there were no issues but once we received our meal while taking a bite of my sandwich I notice a group of staff members in the kitchen window watching mess I ate, watching me with big grins and laughing. They scattered quickly when I caught them staring. I stopped my girls from eating anymore and we got the check and left. Needless to say I will never be back. I will post as many reviews detailing this as I can so everyone will be aware that these little kids that work there are ruining this business.More
Came here after church. Given an approximate wait time of 20 to 25 minutes. Never given a table after a long wait of 40 minutes. They were more confrontational about the wait time than apologetic. Nearly every customer was seated before we were. We were…three adults and two small children. Needless to say, this left a very bad taste in our mouths! We ended up walking out! Very, very bad business! I have always eaten at the Kirby restuarant and will Never go the Fuqua one again!More

Shrimp omlet was pretty good. Spinach, cheese, and shrimp were in 3 seperate lumps – so it was like eating 3 seperate omlets. Bacon was super well done and super crispy – not very appetizing.Pie selection is great.Nice service.
