This isnt the first time Ive been a member of Beauty Pie. It probably wont be my last time either.

One of the nice things about Beauty Pie is that you are only locked into a 3-month membership. After that, canceling is pretty easy.

Typically Ill sign up for a membership, buy a few things each month, and then cancel after three months. Even though you can bank your spending limit, I wont fork over $10 for the membership when Im not planning to make a purchase. Thats $10 I could save or spend on something else.

Updated December 2021: Now that they offer a pretty affordable year-long membership, I will be going that route.

Burts Bees Ultimate Care Hand Cream With Baobab Oil

Burts Bees Ultimate Care Hand Cream is formulated with baobab oil, watermelon seed oil, pumpkin seed oil and green tea extract. It is 98.9% natural . Baobab oil is formulated from the fruit seeds of the baobab tree, known as the Tree of Life. Over the past few months I have tried SO many Beauty Pie products but today I want to talk about my absolute favorites.

The Über Youth Hyaluronic Sheet Masks are one of my new favorite sheet masks. The pack of five masks would typically retail for $70, but members pay $22.62. The masks are packed with anti-aging ingredients as well as hyaluronic acid and hydrolyzed collagen to instantly plump up skin. I love these when I am tired or before a big event.

All of the Super Retinol products are AMAZING, but my favorites are the retinol night cream , which also contains Vitamin C! This one would usually retail for $95 but members pay only $11.23. I like this one a lot because it doesnt dry your skin out. Besides all the important anti aging ingredients , it also has shea butter to nourish. When I do this I will just pop on a little bit of face oil on afterward and I wake up with smooth, glowing skin.

Along those lines, is it weird to admit that the Super Retinol hand cream is actually my favorite Beauty Product of all? I am super self conscious about my hands . I use this every day and have noticed a huge difference. HUGE. This one would usually go for $50 but members pay only $7.48.

Finding Beauty Pie A Subscription

Before last August, I had not heard of Beauty Pie, but when I saw they had a retinol hand cream, I was in. I love retinols and I love hand creams so this was really a win-win.

Initially, I was a little hesitant about joining the monthly subscription service from Beauty Pie. I didnt really understand how it worked and Ive been trying to get my monthly subscriptions under control.

Basically, by paying a monthly fee , you get an allowance to spend. You can get bonuses added to the monthly allowance with promo codes and the like . With my $10 membership, I have $100 to spend a month. This is where it gets a little confusing. The spending limit/allowance is based on the retail prices, but what you pay is based on the membership prices. I can get up to $100 of the typical price items but pay the lower prices.

For example, with my membership, I pay $7.73 for this eye cream that retails for $85. Out of my $100 allowance, I have $15 left.

So youre limited on how much you can buy each month, but you pay the far lower prices.

I have placed two orders so far and spent $64.85 . However, the products I bought, in total, retail for $355.

Per the brands website, You get the same luxury quality cosmetics and high performance skincare, without paying for the middlemen, the celebrity marketing or retailer costs. The brand is pretty minimalist, lacking the bells and whistles that some beauty brands and subscription services employ.
