More Deliciousness Coming To Rimrock Drive In Grand Junction

Grand Junction Family Opens a New Franchise of Nothing Bundt Cakes

Grand Junction’s Rimrock Drive is already home to several awesome local shops catering to those of us with a sweet tooth. Another option will be opening soon.

I already visit Rimrock for take n’ bake pizza, cookies, bagels, and incredible coffee. Before long, a bakery specializing in a particular variety of cake will be joining the list.

Backstory On This Bakery

According to their official webpage, Nothing Bundt Cakes began in 1997 when founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz joined forces. Their webpage states:

Built on Dena and Debbie’s vision, each bakery still has thegrand warmth and nostalgia of its home-kitchen roots, but we also take a modern approach for the world today. So whether you’re enjoying a Bundt Cake or a Bundtinis®, one thing is certain perfection is all we offer.

The cakes are delicious but we stopped thinking we could buy one of their small personal size cakes and sit down with a cup of coffee and visit, you know, like a coffee shop. They have no seating, inside OR out, they have no forks…or napkins and they offer absolutely nothing to drink. It was very strange. So, off we went to Starbucks with our little cakes to sit in their lobby with a coffee and wow, they even gave us forks :)Again, the cake was good so no complaints about that but it is a bit strange in the way they have set up the business.More

Reviews For Nothing Bundt Cakes

I was surprised today. I was working and was told that for National Postal Workers Day, we had received several boxes of cupcakes from Everything Bundt Cake. I had never heard of them before today. They looked amazing and tasted even better. The most delicious surprise ever. Thank you so much for this. It made my day as well as every other employee I work with. We will support your business and always remember this. Thank you!!!

Autumn is as sweet as these amazing Bundt cakes. When I walked in, she promptly greeted me and was beyond helpful. I will be ordering both of my kids little Bundtlet cakes for their birthdays at school. We got the funfetty and carrot, both were amazing. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a delicious sweet treat.

Amazing. I missed having a Nothing Bundt Cakes, in Texas we had so many! Once I heard they were coming to Junction I got excited to be able to spoil my employees with a bundt cake for their anniversaries or birthdays!!

When Can You Visit

Their webpage states the Grand Junction location will be “Opening Soon.” Sorry, neither they nor the contractor doing the buildout offers a definitive date for the store’s opening. The contractor’s schedule shows construction will continue through September.

Rimrock Avenue is already home to a number of incredible franchises. I visit the area so frequently my car can probably drive itself. Between Papa Murphey’s, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and Crumbl Cookies, you can find pretty much anything.

Opening a new cake store can be the sweetest of times for a business owner.

For the Gordons, doing so together as a family is the icing on top.

John, his wife Christie and their daughter Erin are the co-owners of the newest branch of Nothing Bundt Cakes in Grand Junction at 2536 Rimrock Ave. Suite 300. The bakery soft-opened to the public Oct. 23 and hosted its official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce on Thursday morning, officially marking its entrance as the newest place for delectables in the dessert.

Weve been working on it for a little over a year, so being able to open our doors was really exciting, Erin said. The brand itself brings so much joy, so being able to bring that joy to our hometown has been a lot of fun. Weve had a pretty good reception so far from people in the valley.

Prior to Oct. 23, all Nothing Bundt Cakes stores in Colorado were on the Front Range.
