Snellville Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery Celebrating Grand Opening Oct 23
Cake fans in Snellville have a new place to go when a craving for their favorite treat hits.
A new Nothing Bundt Cakes location is set to celebrate its official grand opening Oct. 23 and its owners, Jig and Divyesh Patel, are planning to celebrate various events and fundraisers. The store at 2118 Scenic Highway, Suite E recently opened and it is the Patels second Nothing Bundt Cakes location. They also run a location in Cumming.
A Georgia girl through-and- through, I am excited to bring Nothing Bundt Cakes to our Snellville community, Jig Patel said. Growing up, cake was never just cake in our family. It was there to welcome neighbors, to celebrate birthdays and accomplishments. It was there to say Im sorry or provide condolences.
The Patels will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Snellville Commerce Club and the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce at noon Oct. 23. They then plan to donate 20 percent of their proceeds on Oct. 27 will be donated to Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta.
The open festivities will culminate with several events on Oct. 28 include a special offer of one free Bundlet per month for 12 months to the first 50 guests at 10 a.m., a family fun event with face painting, balloon art and cake samples from noon to 2 p.m. and a wine and cake tasting from 7 to 9 p.m.
The bakery will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

The cake was good, I didn’t like how I tasted cream cheese in the icing. The icing would be better if used regular frosting. Ok I didn’t know they had different options for frosting . Thank you
