Nothing Bundt Cakes Opens First Connecticut Store In Stamford
Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery retailer with more than 350 locations in 40 states and Canada, is opening its first Connecticut store today at 838 High Ridge Road in Stamford.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony coordinated with the Stamford Chamber of Commerce will take place this morning, and a special promotion will occur tomorrow with 20% of the days sales being donated to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.
The new store will be open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Addison, Texas, Nothing Bundt Cakes offers a line of cakes ranging in sizes from 8- and 10-inch specialties to miniature Bundlets and bite-sized Bundtinis. The companys website claims it is famous for the thick frosting petals that adorn each of our cakes, which are made with velvety cream cheese and real butter.

Residents can enter the contest by submitting a photo from their favorite birthday memory, describing what they enjoyed about it and sharing what winning the party would mean to them.

“At Nothing Bundt Cakes, bringing joy is at the heart of everything we do,” said Nothing Bundt Cakes Chief Marketing Officer Angie Eckelkamp in a news release. “Our bakery-wide 25th birthday Confetti Bundtlet giveaway and $25,000 party contest is our way of thanking our guests for letting us be a part of their joyous moments over the years.”
Founded in Las Vegas in 1997, Nothing Bundt Cakes started as a small bundt cake baking business out of the home kitchens of co-founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz.
Word quickly caught on, and the duo opened several bakeries before deciding to franchise the concept.
There are now 450 locations in the U.S., and Canada. Nothing Bundt Cakes offers four cake sizes in nine flavors, including fan favorites red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, strawberries and cream and confetti.
The bakeries also offer a variety of accessories for entertaining and gift items.
Nothing Bundt Cakes Brings More Than Just Bundt Cakes To West Hartford
Nothing Bundt Cakes is now open in the Corbins Corner shopping center at 1481 New Britain Avenue in West Hartford.

The sign inside the Nothing Bundt Cakes in West Hartfords Corbins Corner shopping center reads Make Wishes Come True, and thats what Traci Halky plans to do with the new business she opened July 24. Owning the store is her dream job, and shes looking forward to making special moments even happier for her customers.
A former attorney, Halky is excited about not just the delicious Bundt cakes available in various sizes and multiple flavors but also about everything else featured in the store, and what it represents.
After about 20 years of a combative career, this is an opportunity to do the exact opposite, she said. Its so sweet and kind.

Halky grew up in Fairfield County, but left Connecticut for college and law school, and was living in Florida when COVID hit. I decided to change it up, to stop practicing law, she said. Her son earned a scholarship to Andover, and moving to Connecticut she would be closer to him and to her parents who still live in her childhood home.
