Filipino patrons expressed their love for a specialty ice cream brand after it announced its permanent closure after eight years of operations in the Philippines.
Baskin-Robbins, one of the first brands of specialty ice cream in the country, penned a farewell post to its customers on social media on November 26.
Its branches will be closing their doors on December 31.
To our dear customers, its been an incredible journey over the last 8 years, but unfortunately we will be permanently closing our doors on Dec 31, 2022, Baskin-Robbins said.
Once again, thank you very much for everything. Its been an honor to be of service to all of you, it added.
Before its final goodbye, Baskin-Robbins offered its patrons the following promos from November 26 to December 31:

Baskin-Robbins soon received sad reactions to its post as its customers, especially the long-time patrons, were saddened by their favorite ice cream brands closure.
As of writing, it has 42,000 reactions, 6,000 comments and 13,000 shares on Facebook.
The ice cream chain also received messages of love from their customers in the comments section.
This was my kids yearly ice cream birthday cake, one Facebook user said with crying emojis.
Baskin-Robbins did not specify the reason behind its closure.
It has since opened shop in many countries, including states in the Middle East.

How To Serve An Ice Cream Cake From Baskin Robbins
A sturdy plate can be used to serve a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake, with garnish options such as fresh fruit or melted caramel or fudge. When it comes to spoons and forks, serve them to your guests so that they can choose from a variety. A cake can be left out for up to an hour, but you should leave it out for no more than 30 minutes.
This recipe requires two kitchen tools: a half sheet pan and a 9-inch springform pan.

The official first day of summer is right around the corner and Baskin-Robbins is kicking off the season with its lineup of summer flavors and treats.
New this year, the Sand Pail Cake is a summertime creation featuring graham crackers as the sand, sea creatures made of icing, and a pink spoon.
